Inspired by the Vinted model, USED is a comprehensive peer-to-peer ecosystem designed to promote the circular economy. As the Lead Developer, I engineered the entire platform architecture, including a complex custom admin dashboard for monitoring user growth, controlling granular roles and permissions, and managing withdrawals and order flows.
The platform facilitates seamless buying and selling with features designed specifically for a C2C marketplace: real-time in-app messaging with an integrated 'Make Offer' system, an in-app digital Wallet system, multiple delivery integrations, and a Buyer Protection fee model. Seller profiles feature automated achievement badges like 'Speedy Shipping' and 'Frequent Uploads' to build community trust. The high-availability backend ensures fast filtering and search capabilities across thousands of user-generated listings.
